While in prayer and study the Lord directed Donnie's attention to the passage in John Chapter 9 where there is a blind man. Pastor Donnie began to feel that God was dealing with him not necessarily in regards to the blind man, but rather how the blind man had to operate each and every day of his life. He could not physical see his surroundings, neither could he see how everything would unfold in his life. This blind man did, however, have the understanding that if He could just learn to trust in Jesus, God would end up getting all of the glory in his life.
Not man, not a doctor somewhere, neither a home remedy. God would help this man walking by faith and likewise God spoke to Pastor Donnie.

God has promised The Vine Church many great promises. Pastor Donnie says, "Though when launching by faith we were blind to all of the specifics concerning the greatness of our future, I believe with all of my heart that The Vine is going to see things happen that have never been seen before. I see, through my spiritual vision and faith, nameless faces that we've never met before, God bringing Divine connections. I see miracles that will be happening that we have never seen happen before. Unprecedented church growth, uncommon favor from our Lord, and while it's all happening, I see The Vine giving God the Glory for it all. These things will be done in a way so that no one will be able to receive credit but God and God alone.

This anointed man has come to minister to the lives of people that he comes into contact with, possessing a genuine gift and anointing to teach and lead others into the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After serving in the capacity of a student pastor and assistant pastor for over 10 years. Pastor Donnie looks forward with great anticipation to the things that God is preparing through his Pastoral leadership at The Vine.

His mission is simply, "To lead and to teach people how to apply the Word of God to their everyday lives, that they may be changed, and in doing so change the World."

Pastor Donnie is married to the lovely Sonya, and they are the proud parents of two children Meghan 6 and Drew just two years old.
